Billed as "one of the most attractive new buildings of the village" when it was built in 1964, Kings Casuals sold ladies clothing. The owners advertised "a patio along the river for husbands waiting for their wives", hoping to bring in the couples together.
In the 90s this space was a cartoon character shop, brightly colored and full of energy, and then a Wild Birds outlet until being rented as gift shop retail space as it is today.
